On behalf of this specialist in the provision of wireless data transfer solutions to the Utilities marketplace, corporate organisations and Local Government, the Stafford Website Company was commissioned to build two new websites based on a bespoke CMS package.
In addition to the re-design and development of the company’s corporate website, www.wireless-innovation.co.uk, a new site was developed from scratch for the launch of an exciting new range of M2M services – www.cellubi.co.uk. While the brief for both sites included design, development and copywriting the development of a fresh brand for Cellubi was also undertaken.
Functionality within the bespoke CMS package includes the ability to set administrator permissions by page, the ability to save and approve draft pages before upload to the live site and an automatic PDF generation tool. SEO set up and ongoing optimisation were also part of the project, and the Stafford Website Company team is now set to work with Wireless Innovation to move an existing product website over to run on the new, bespoke CMS.
Jeff Martin, Commercial Director at Wireless Innovation says:
“I knew the deadline was tight when I briefed the Stafford Website Company and have been impressed with the results. The team took a pro-active approach, filtering through designs and information for review and raising queries where necessary to ensure we were able to get both sites live in time for the show. I’d recommend Stafford Website Company to anyone looking to develop a website and we’re now working together on a project to move an existing product website over to the bespoke content management system.”

Both of these sites are the brainchild of a farrier’s wife, who spotted a gap in the online marketplace for sites dedicated to this specialist profession:
Forge & Farrier is an online resource aimed at farriers themselves. The website sections cover information and advice, details of suppliers to the industry, industry bodies, education and training alongside an event calendar, results of competitions and a gallery. There is also a forum where farriers can discuss current issues, and a basic online shop.
The Farriers Pages, meanwhile, is a resource aimed very much at the farriers’ target marketplace – the horse-owning public. In addition to hoofcare advice, a forum and information on farriers’ qualification and training, the site offers a directory enabling web visitors to search for a farrier in their area by postcode.
"When the idea for our new farriery website was borne, we approached the Stafford Website Company with a fairly specific brief which included the design and building of a logo, website, business cards and banner stand and more recently the task of writing a press release. From our point of view this project was potentially quite a sensitive one and we knew the product that we delivered had to meet high standards.
" Penny and her team worked to meet our requirements to a specific deadline and since the launch of the website at the end of August 2007 it has continued to surpass all expectations. We receive emails from all over the world on a weekly basis complimenting us on the design, content and navigation of the website and we feel very proud to be able to call it our own. The Stafford Website Company is a professional organisation offering a multitude of services at extremely competitive prices.”
Nigel and Claire Brown, December 2007
